Commissioned by David Halperin and the Rockies Clarinet Quartet (US Air Force Academy Band), Spin, Spin, Spin combines traditional Hanukkah tunes in a tasteful, klezmer inspired retelling of the Hanukkah story. A bass clarinet cadenza introduces the main themes before setting off into a fast 7/8 dance. This is not a corny medley! A great closer to end a program, holiday-themed or not!
